It's always fun being at an airport when you're a people watcher like me, so many people to watch so much going on. You've got people sad as they wave good bye to loved ones who are heading home or heading off for a period of time, you have those happy and excited as they are heading off on vacation to places exotic and fun, then you have those neutral people who are just travelling from "A to B" probably for work...
So many people, so many emotions and that is just based on the reasons for traveling and doesn't include those who are anxious about the actual flying part of the traveling that is a whole other category.
Watching the planes take off and land as I wait for my flight amazes me, how do such huge aircraft even manage to get off the ground let alone fly, I know it's physics, even so it is still amazing!
Many things in life amaze me not only planes taking off and flying, I am amazed at how my wife does so much. She works, organizes our family, takes care of her own stuff and still has energy at the end of the day, she is an amazing woman. I have trouble having the energy to eat the wonderful dinner she prepares when I am done with my day! I am amazed at how God loves me and shows me His grace time and time again even though I fail Him. Grace, that leads me back to thinking about the airport, how much different would the airport be if we could all remember to show others grace as we went about our journey through the airport, in fact may be we need to take it out of the airport and into every part of our lives showing grace to others the way He shows it to us, how much better would the world be if we could all do that...
