Customer Service

What do you like about your favourite restaurant? Chances are it is a combination of the food and the service. If either one is below standard it will likely effect your thoughts on the restaurant overall.

As Christians we are part of something that includes two parts, the substance of Christianity (God, Jesus and His Word the Bible) and the customer service part, which is how we as ambassadors for Christ live our lives.

Thinking about our role in this way brings a stark realization before us. If we are grumpy, judgmental or hypocritical then it tarnishes Christianity and Christians as a whole, much like the restaurant, people see our actions and life as part of Christianity as a whole.

Now we all make mistakes, and I have made a few of them, but through the Grace of Jesus we are forgiven when we repent and bring them before Him.

However, that does not excuse us from doing our very best to ensure every interaction we have with every person is a positive one regardless of the circumstance, the world is our restaurant floor and every time we walk out into it we are ambassadors and need to be acting that way in every interaction. If we can all do that the world will start slowly to be a very different place.
