Christmas Traditions

It's not long now until Christmas, the weathers got colder, the nights darker and the Christmas trees lights can be seen shining out of windows in the neighbourhood.

Christmas for me is about celebrating the birth of my Saviour Jesus, spending time with family and loved ones and a time to celebrate all that is good in the world. To do that in our family we have some traditions things that although not formal we have done for a number of years. The first of those takes place later this week and I am looking forward to it. It's Mission's Christmas Candlelight Parade if you haven't had a chance to go I would recommend you take it in this year. It takes place in downtown Mission BC on Friday December 2nd 2011and starts at 7:30pm and goes until about 10pm, each year it draws about 10,000 people so get there early to get a good spot!

If you don't live in the area you can check out a video I took a couple of years ago here

This will be the first of our Christmas traditions and will help us really get in to the spirit of Christmas, after all it's only 28 days until Christmas!

You can find out the official information on the parade here
