Identity Theft- Are You Protected

Reading so much about identity theft and peoples debit cards being compromised made me think about some simple steps we can all do to protect ourselves, but do we take those steps. Here are some questions to ask yourself, if you answer no to any, you could be at risk:

1. Have you changed your Debit Card PIN in the last month?
2. Have you changed your Chip Credit Card PIN in the last month?
3. Do you shred every piece of mail that has any personal information about you including your name and address before you put it out for recycling/garbage?

Some easy steps to take to  save a lot of problems down the road...have you ever been a victim?

Looking around there also companies that help protect your identity, one of them that offers services to help is Equifax it is a paid service, but if you are concerned it may be for you.
