I have to admit I drive my wife crazy with my love of cheese sandwiches, I will eat them anytime for a meal and be quite happy. Now when I do make them I must admit I make a mean cheese sandwich, it is loaded with onions and hot peppers and of course cheese!
Thinking of sandwiches got me thinking about life and how in life much like a sandwich, we try to cram as much stuff in as we can. Admittedly most of it is good but we fill our lives to the point of overflowing. Ever seen that person at Subway who is getting there money's worth on the veggies? Ever seen that exhausted person at work or church because they are just trying to have the most fun, get everything done at work or do all they can "for the Lord", they are cramming as much in as they can to life or to their sandwich.
Are we supposed to just cram stuff in to the point of overflowing? Or are we supposed to have balance? I would say that balance in everything is important, that includes Subway sandwiches and life, after all didn't He rest one day? Didn't He say "be still and know that I am God". It's kind of hard to do that if we are just cramming stuff in our sandwich of life...
